Job Overview
We are seeking a skilled Sandblaster / painter to join our team. This role requires attention to detail, adherence to safety protocols, and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced setting.
Duties
- Perform sandblasting to clean and prepare surfaces for coating or painting
- Apply industrial coatings, primers, and paints using spray guns, rollers, or brushes
- Follow proper procedures for surface preparation, coating application, and curing
- Inspect completed work to ensure quality and durability
- Maintain equipment, tools, and the blast/paint booths
- Maintain equipment by performing routine checks and cleaning as necessary.
- Follow safety procedures and wear appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE) at all times.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure timely completion of projects.
- Document work performed and report any issues or concerns to supervisors.
Experience
- Previous experience as a Sandblaster / Painter or in a similar role is preferred.
- Familiarity with various blasting techniques and materials is a plus.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship.
- Good physical stamina and ability to lift heavy materials when necessary.
