Job Overview:
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Room Attendant to join the brand new Hyatt Place Hyatt House Mississauga Airport Corporate Centre. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in maintaining the cleanliness and overall presentation of guest rooms and public areas within our establishment. This position requires a strong work ethic, attention to detail, and a commitment to providing exceptional service to ensure a pleasant experience for all guests.
Responsibilities:
- Clean and sanitize guest rooms, including bathrooms, kitchens, and living areas, ensuring all surfaces are spotless.
- Change bed linens, towels, and other amenities as needed.
- Restock supplies such as toiletries, linens, and cleaning products.
- Report any maintenance issues or safety hazards to the appropriate personnel.
- Maintain cleanliness in public areas of the hotel, including lobbies, hallways, and restrooms.
- Follow established cleaning protocols and safety guidelines to ensure a safe environment for both guests and staff.
- Provide excellent customer service by responding promptly to guest requests or inquiries.
Experience
- Previous experience in industrial cleaning or custodial work is preferred but not required.
- Experience in hospitality or hotel environments is a plus.
- Strong attention to detail with the ability to work independently and efficiently.
- Excellent time management skills to prioritize tasks effectively.
- Ability to lift heavy items and perform physical tasks associated with cleaning duties.

Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $18.00-$18.50 per hour
Expected hours: 38 – 42 per week
