We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Line Cook/Prep Cook to join our dynamic culinary team. Duties
- Prepare ingredients and assist in meal preparation according to recipes and quality standards
- Cook and assemble dishes efficiently while maintaining consistency and presentation standards
- Handle food safely by following proper food handling and sanitation procedures
- Assist with cleaning and organizing kitchen stations, utensils, and equipment
- Support the team during service hours by serving food promptly and courteously
- Maintain inventory levels of ingredients and notify management of supply needs
- Follow all health and safety regulations to ensure a safe working environment
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely delivery of orders and smooth kitchen operations
Skills
- Proven experience in food preparation, cooking, or food service roles within a restaurant or food industry setting
- Knowledge of food safety standards and proper food handling techniques
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
- Strong understanding of meal preparation, serving, and kitchen operations
- Excellent teamwork skills with the ability to communicate effectively with colleagues
- Flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings, weekends, or holidays as needed
- Basic knowledge of kitchen equipment operation and maintenance is preferred
