Rozen Steelworks specializes in the fabrication of pressure piping, power piping, and structural steel. We have just opened our second shop and are taking on even more project work as we continue to grow. We are currently looking for a dedicated Equipment Operator to join the Rozen Steelworks team in Acheson, AB.

Schedule
- Regular shift: Monday to Thursday, 6:00 AM to 4:30 PM
- Overtime is regularly required on Fridays and occasional Saturdays based on production requirements and project schedules
Responsibilities:
- Load and unload flat deck trailers carrying fabricated pipe spools, structural steel assemblies, and miscellaneous steel products.
- Receive incoming raw materials including small and large diameter pipe, beams, channel, angle, plate, tubing, and miscellaneous steel products.
- Keep fabrication crews supplied with material to minimize downtime and maintain workflow.
- Safely transport materials throughout the fabrication shop and yard.
- Stage materials for production based on fabrication priorities.
- Assist with shipping and receiving activities.
- Perform daily equipment inspections and report maintenance concerns.
- Maintain organized material storage areas and laydown yards.
- Ensure loads are secured, balanced, and handled without damage.
- Work closely with supervisors and coordinators to support production requirements.
- Follow all company safety procedures and site-specific requirements.
Requirements:
- Minimum 3 years of equipment operating experience.
- Experience operating wheel loaders and/or telehandlers in an industrial environment.
- Experience handling structural steel, pipe, plate, and fabricated assemblies.
- Telehandler certification or equivalent experience.
- Forklift experience.
- Experience loading and unloading flat deck trailers.
- Ability to safely handle long, heavy, and irregularly shaped loads.
- Strong understanding of load stability, rigging principles, and safe material handling practices.
- Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions.
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
- Experience in a structural steel fabrication shop, pipe fabrication shop, steel service center, or industrial manufacturing facility.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $32.92-$36.14 per hour
