Summary
We are seeking a detail-oriented Inventory Shop Worker to join our team in Victoria. This role is vital in managing inventory processes, supporting our fabrication and installation operations, and ensuring our commitment to quality and customer satisfaction.
Job Duties and Responsibilities
- Accurately read and interpret paperwork to complete assigned tasks
- Prepare stone products for shipping and receiving
- Enter, track, and remove materials in the inventory system
- Load and unload delivery and installation trucks safely and efficiently
- Inspect stone materials for defects and report any issues
- Photograph and properly label stone slabs for tracking and identification
- Operate overhead cranes and forklifts in a safe and controlled manner
- Coordinate with production staff to ensure CNC machines are supplied with materials
- Maintain an organized, clean, and efficient inventory and production area
- Communicate proactively with team members regarding material concerns or potential issues
- Work in a safe manner that complies with all safety guidelines
- Contribute to team effort and complete other duties as required or assigned.
Qualifications
- Proven ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
- Strong attendance and reliability
- Basic computer skills (MS Office); experience with Slabsmith or similar inventory systems is an asset
- Clear communication and teamwork skills
- Willingness to learn and take direction from experienced team members
- Flexibility to be cross trained in other departments
- Ability to lift up to 100 lbs.

Pay: $22.00-$24.00 per hour

Experience:
- Inventory control: 2 years (preferred)
- Warehouse operations: 2 years (preferred)
- Materials handling: 1 year (required)
