Job Description:
We are seeking a talented and motivated Designer to join our team. The Designer will be responsible for meeting with clients, taking measurements of the space, creating drawings and 3D renderings, confirming finishes and fixtures with clients, providing and confirming project costs, and supervising the progress of the project to ensure it aligns with the plan.
Key Responsibilities:
- Client Meetings: Conduct initial consultations with clients to understand their needs, preferences, and budget.
- Space Measurement: Accurately measure the dimensions of the space to ensure precise planning and execution.
- Design Creation: Develop detailed drawings and 3D renderings of kitchen and bath layouts, incorporating client feedback and preferences.
- Material and Fixture Selection: Assist clients in selecting finishes, fixtures, and materials, ensuring compatibility with design and budget.
- Cost Estimation: Provide detailed cost estimates for the project, ensuring transparency and alignment with client expectations.
- Project Supervision: Oversee the progress of the renovation project, coordinating with contractors and ensuring adherence to the design plan and timeline.
- Client Communication: Maintain clear and consistent communication with clients throughout the project, addressing any concerns and providing updates.
- Quality Assurance: Ensure the final output meets the company’s standards and client’s expectations.
Requirements:
- Education: Degree or diploma in Interior Design, Architecture, or related field.
- Experience: Minimum of 3 years of experience in kitchen and bath design and renovation.
- Skills:
- Proficiency in design software such as AutoCAD, SketchUp, 2020 or similar.
- Strong understanding of construction processes and material specifications.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
- Certifications: Certification from a recognized design association (e.g., NKBA) is a plus.
- Portfolio: A portfolio demonstrating previous kitchen and bath design projects is required.
