We are currently seeking a motivated and reliable Industrial Painter/Sandblaster with a strong team attitude and the ability to learn and work in a fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities & Duties
· Set up, operate and perform basic maintenance on sandblasting and enamel and epoxy painting equipment to produce finishes that meet company standards and customer expectations.
· Trained and proficient with the application of Industrial Coatings and trained and proficient with Sandblasting and sandblasting equipment.
· Masking and preparing material for blasting.
· Inspect all projects for quality (material and painting).
· Ensure proper drying times are met.
· Troubleshooting issues with sandblast unit, compressor, blast pot, hose etc.
· Ensure proper maintenance on sandblasting & painting equipment.
· Prepares surfaces by Sandblasting, sanding, grinding, removing oils and /or foreign materials.
· Maintain safe work practices.
· Ensure a clean work environment and adhere to all company standards and policies.
· Physical stamina, frequent standing, bending over & lifting.
· Understanding of safety standards in the performance of painting duties.
· Conduct him/herself in a professional manner in accordance with company guidelines.
· Perform other essential duties as required.
Pay: $33.00-$40.00 per hour
