Seasonal Labourer – Landscaping & Property Maintenance
Sunrex Management Ltd. is seeking a motivated and reliable Seasonal Labourer to join our landscaping and property maintenance team. This position offers an excellent opportunity to gain hands-on experience in outdoor maintenance, landscaping, and general property upkeep. The ideal candidate enjoys working outdoors, is physically active, and takes pride in maintaining attractive residential and commercial properties.
Duties and Responsibilities
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
- Gardening activities including planting, pruning, weeding, mulching, and lawn care
- Landscape maintenance such as mowing, edging, trimming, and general groundskeeping
- Small exterior painting projects
- General cleaning of common areas and outdoor spaces
- Safe operation of hand tools, power tools, and landscaping equipment
- Assisting with minor maintenance projects as required
- Maintaining clean and safe work sites by removing debris and following safety procedures
- Other duties as assigned
Qualifications
- Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions
- Ability to perform physically demanding work, including lifting moderate loads
- Strong work ethic and attention to detail
- Ability to follow instructions and work effectively as part of a team
- Valid driver's license and access to a reliable vehicle for travel between job sites
- Previous landscaping, maintenance, construction, or gardening experience is considered an asset, but is not required
- Must be at least 18 years of age
