Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Truck Driver to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for transporting Fresh Produce safely and efficiently to Distribution Centres across the GTA. This role requires a strong commitment to safety and adherence to transportation regulations while ensuring timely delivery of freight. Candidates with experience in commercial driving, forklift operation, and heavy equipment operation will be highly regarded. This position is generally night time/early morning deliveries.
Duties
- Operate trucks to transport freight to designated locations in a safe and efficient manner.
- Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the vehicle to ensure safety and compliance with regulations.
- Maintain accurate logs of driving hours, vehicle maintenance, and cargo information.
- Adhere to all traffic laws and company policies while on the road.
Requirements
- Valid AZ license is required - Standard Shifting Trucks - NO AUTOMATIC Trucks
- Proven experience in commercial driving; experience with freight transportation is preferred.
- Familiarity with forklift operation is a plus.
- Excellent time management skills and ability to work independently or as part of a team.
- Strong communication skills for effective interaction with dispatchers, clients, and other team members.
- Ability to pass background checks and adhere to safety regulations at all times.

Pay: $28.00-$32.00 per hour
