We are seeking a detail-oriented and motivated Counter Sales/Shipper to join our clients warehouse team. This role involves managing customer orders, preparing shipments, and supporting warehouse operations to ensure efficient distribution. The ideal candidate will have experience in warehouse management systems, shipping & receiving, and order fulfillment, with a strong focus on accuracy and safety.
Pay: $21.00-$23.00/hour
Shift: Monday-Friday 8am-4:30pm
Key Responsibilities
- Provide exceptional customer service at the sales counter.
- Process customer orders accurately and efficiently.
- Pick, pack, ship, and receive orders.
- Maintain an organized and clean warehouse and sales area.
- Operate a forklift safely to move and organize inventory.
- Assist customers with product inquiries and recommend appropriate solutions.
- Work collaboratively with team members to ensure timely order fulfillment.
- Accurately use multiple computer systems for order processing and inventory management.
- Perform other warehouse and counter sales duties as required.
Qualifications Required
- Reliable, dependable, and punctual.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
- Positive attitude with a strong customer service focus.
- Previous customer-facing, customer service, or sales experience.
- Strong organizational skills with exceptional attention to detail.
- Ability to multitask and work effectively in a fast-paced, changing environment.
- Computer proficiency, including Microsoft Office, and the ability to quickly learn multiple software systems.
- Critical thinking and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to safely lift up to 50 lbs.
- Ability to operate a forklift (or willingness to become certified, if applicable).
