Job Summary
We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized Warranty Clerk to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing warranty claims, maintaining accurate records, and providing exceptional administrative support within our service department. This role will also entail cross training for reception and cashier. This role is essential in ensuring efficient processing of warranty requests and supporting customer satisfaction.
Duties
- Review and process warranty claims accurately and promptly
- Maintain organized filing systems for warranty documentation and related records
- Assist with data entry and record keeping using relevant software systems
- Communicate with service technicians, vendors, and customers regarding warranty status and requirements
- Verify warranty information against product records and service histories
- Support the department with clerical tasks such as filing, scanning, and photocopying
- Ensure compliance with company policies and warranty procedures
- Prepare reports related to warranty activities as needed
Requirements
- Prior clerical experience, preferably in a medical or technical environment
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently
- Familiarity with medical terminology is a plus but not required
- Proficient in filing, data entry, and maintaining accurate records
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy in work
- Ability to communicate effectively both verbally and in writing
- Demonstrated ability to work independently and as part of a team
