What We’re Looking For:
We are seeking a vibrant personality to take our business on Vancouver Island to the next level. This role requires your ability to wear multiple hats to service our existing partners and discover and close new, meaningful ones.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and execute a strategic sales plan to achieve and exceed sales targets in your designated territory (Vancouver Island).
- Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with food service retailers, distributors, and other partners, serving as a trusted advisor and product expert.
- Conduct in-person meetings and engaging presentations to showcase the benefits of our fun food service products.
- Identify new business opportunities, prospect potential customers, and generate leads through networking, referrals, and industry events.
- Provide exceptional customer service by addressing inquiries, resolving issues, and offering ongoing support and training to our partners.
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends, market insights, and competitor activities to continuously adapt and improve our sales strategies.
- Utilize CRM tools to track sales activities, pipeline, and customer interactions.
- Be a joyful delight to work with.
Qualifications:
- Proven track record of success in outside sales, managing a large geography, preferably in the food service industry.
- Goal-oriented with an entrepreneurial spirit and experience in communicating in a B2B environment.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build trust and rapport with customers and accounts at all levels.
- Self-motivated, results-oriented, and capable of working independently.
- Strong organizational and time management skills.
- Willingness to travel within your assigned territory to nurture relationships and expand our customer base.
- Passion for the food service industry, with knowledge of food service products, industry trends, and market dynamics being a plus.
- Ability to learn and easily convey technical product/equipment information.
