Job Description and Responsibilities
We are looking for a sales account manager for the United-States. The candidate will join the business development team of Metrio.
Under the supervision of the business development director, sales account managers will have to increase the company's revenue by managing existing accounts and developing new client accounts. The ideal candidates have sales experience and sustainable development and/or SaaS software expertise.
Candidates should demonstrate a keen commercial sense, autonomy, excellent communication skills, perseverance and be an excellent team player. More specifically, the responsibilities will be:
Achieve quarterly and annual sales objectives;
Identify business opportunity and sign up new clients;
Elaborate and apply growth strategies for existing accounts;
Conduct software presentations;
Write proposals and respond to RFPs;
Track sales progress through our CRM software;
Participate in industry events;
Collaborate with other teams for project management and software improvement;
Stay on top of industry best practices for advising clients.
We are looking for a person with the following qualifications
At least five years of sales experience in ESG/CSR reporting and SaaS;
Totally bilingual english and french (written and spoken);
Bachelor degree in a relevant field;
Ability to use a CRM tool to prospect, identify and sign-up business opportunities;
Excellent presentation and customer service abilities;
Availability to do business travel through North America;
Business network in sustainable development in the United States is an asset.
