We are currently seeking an experienced and motivated Heavy Duty Mechanic to join our growing team. The successful candidate will be responsible for diagnosing, repairing, servicing, and maintaining a fleet of heavy equipment and construction machinery. Duties typically include troubleshooting mechanical, hydraulic, electrical, and pneumatic systems, performing preventative maintenance, and ensuring equipment operates safely and efficiently.
Responsibilities
- Diagnose and repair heavy equipment, trucks, and construction machinery.
- Perform preventative maintenance and inspections.
- Troubleshoot hydraulic, electrical, pneumatic, and mechanical systems.
- Complete service reports and maintenance records.
- Ensure all work is performed safely and according to manufacturer specifications.
- Work independently and as part of a team to keep equipment operational.
Qualifications
- Heavy Duty Mechanic / Heavy Equipment Technician certification preferred.
- Minimum 3+ years of experience working on heavy equipment.
- Strong diagnostic and troubleshooting abilities.
- Experience with excavators, loaders, dozers, skid steers, trucks, and related equipment is an asset.
- Valid driver’s license.
- Strong work ethic and commitment to safety.
Pay: $40.00-$50.00 per hour
