Job Overview
We are seeking a friendly and energetic Barista/Bartender to join our vibrant team. Duties
- Prepare and serve a variety of coffee, tea, cocktails, and other beverages with precision and consistency.
- Operate POS systems, including Micros POS, for order processing and cash handling.
- Greet customers warmly, take orders accurately, and provide excellent customer service throughout their visit.
- Handle food preparation tasks such as assembling drinks, garnishing, and ensuring quality standards are met.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the barista/bartender station in accordance with food safety standards.
- Manage cash register operations, including cash handling and basic math calculations for transactions.
- Ensure compliance with food safety regulations and proper food handling procedures.
- Assist in maintaining inventory levels and restocking supplies as needed.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth operation during busy hours.
Requirements
- Previous experience as a Barista or Bartender is preferred; experience in the food industry is a plus.
- Proficiency with POS systems, especially Micros POS, is highly desirable.
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to engage positively with guests.
- Excellent time management skills to handle multiple orders efficiently during peak hours.
- Basic math skills for cashiering, cash handling, and accurate transaction processing.
- Knowledge of food safety standards and proper food handling procedures.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
- Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, or holidays as needed; a positive attitude is essential for success in this role.
