Job Description
Connor Industries is currently looking for a self-motivated sales professional who is enthusiastic and driven towards success. The ideal candidate understands the importance of customer service and enhancing the overall customer experience.
What will you do?
- Provides excellent customer service and promote a positive experience to Stanley Boat prospective customers and current customers
- Enters all orders in a timely manner and communicates the information to the respective personnel
- Maintains an accurate database – update customer information as required
- Interpret specifications and make the necessary calculations for pricing of tenders
- Supports ongoing sales support activities, such as quotations, follow-up quotations etc.
- Assists customers with product information and other inquiries
- Provides prices and quotes within customer/dealer timelines
- Provides management with information regarding sales, marketing techniques, new products, and market strategies
- Responsible for the day-to-day interactions and sales functions between customers, and the product supply functions within Stanley Boats
- Client service via telephone, in-person, and electronic communications
- Development of industry and product knowledge to enhance client service
What do you need to succeed?
- Strong mechanical aptitude
- Familiarization with manufacturing and assembly of materials; preference given to those with previous marine experience
- Knowledge or experience within the Boat Industry
- Demonstrated expertise in Microsoft programs (Outlook, Word, Excel)
- Ability to read blueprints and understand work orders
- High attention to detail is required in order to achieve quality standards
- Previous experience in a similar role preferred
