Overview
We are seeking motivated and dependable individuals to join our team as Kitchen Help. This role is essential in supporting our culinary operations by assisting with food preparation, serving, and maintaining a clean and organized kitchen environment. Ideal candidates will have a passion for food service and a strong commitment to food safety standards. Prior restaurant or kitchen experience is a plus but not required, as training will be provided. This position offers an excellent opportunity to gain hands-on experience in the food industry and develop valuable skills in meal preparation and food handling.
Responsibilities
- Assist with food preparation, including chopping, assembling, and portioning ingredients
- Support cooking activities under supervision to ensure timely meal service
- Serve food to customers or guests in a courteous and professional manner
- Maintain cleanliness of kitchen surfaces, utensils, and equipment according to food safety standards
- Handle food items safely, ensuring proper storage and sanitation practices
- Support the team during busy periods by providing efficient and friendly service
- Follow all health and safety regulations related to food handling and kitchen operations
Experience
- Prior experience in food service, restaurant, or kitchen environments is preferred but not mandatory
- Familiarity with serving, food preparation, cooking, and general food handling techniques is advantageous
- Knowledge of food safety protocols within the food industry is a plus
- Enthusiasm for learning about meal preparation and kitchen operations
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
- Strong teamwork skills with a positive attitude toward supporting colleagues and ensuring customer satisfaction
Pay: $17.20-$27.45 per hour
