Job Summary
We are seeking compassionate and dedicated Personal Support Workers (PSWs) to provide essential care and assistance to individuals in need of support in their daily lives. The ideal candidate will have a genuine desire to improve the quality of life for seniors, individuals with disabilities, or those requiring specialized care such as dementia support. This role involves working closely with clients to promote independence, safety, and well-being within a home or care facility setting.
Duties
- Assist clients with activities of daily living, including bathing, grooming, dressing, and mobility support
- Provide medication administration as prescribed and monitor health status
- Support clients with meal preparation and feeding to ensure proper nutrition
- Help with light housekeeping tasks such as cleaning and maintaining a safe environment
- Engage clients in meaningful activities to promote mental and emotional well-being
- Observe and report any changes in health or behavior to healthcare professionals or family members
- Offer companionship and emotional support to reduce feelings of loneliness or isolation
- Follow care plans and documentation procedures accurately and consistently
Requirements
- Prior experience in assisted living, nursing homes, or home care environments is highly preferred
- Experience working with seniors, individuals with disabilities, or those requiring dementia care is advantageous
- Knowledge of medication administration and caregiving best practices
- Ability to perform light cleaning and meal preparation tasks effectively
- Compassionate attitude with excellent communication skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment
- Valid certification as a Personal Support Worker (PSW) is preferred but not mandatory; willingness to obtain certification if required
- Flexibility to work various shifts including days, evenings, or weekends as needed

Pay: $23.00-$25.00 per hour
