Job Summary
We are seeking a friendly and attentive Bartender to join our dynamic hospitality team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for preparing and serving beverages, providing exceptional customer service, and ensuring a welcoming atmosphere for all guests. This role requires strong multitasking skills, excellent communication, and a passion for the food and beverage industry. Previous experience in restaurant or food service environments is preferred, along with familiarity with POS systems such as Micros POS. The Bartender will play a key role in creating memorable experiences for our patrons while maintaining high standards of food safety and responsible alcohol service.
Responsibilities
- Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages accurately and efficiently using POS systems like Micros POS.
- Engage with guests in a friendly, professional manner to ensure a positive experience.
- Take orders, process payments, and handle cash or card transactions with precision and accountability.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area, including glassware, utensils, and bar equipment.
- Ensure compliance with food safety standards and responsible alcohol service policies.
- Restock supplies as needed to ensure smooth operation during shifts.
- Assist in serving food when required, supporting overall restaurant operations.
- Manage multiple tables or bar stations simultaneously while maintaining attention to detail.
Experience
- Previous experience in restaurant or food industry settings is highly desirable.
- Familiarity with POS systems such as Micros POS is preferred.
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to handle diverse guest needs professionally.
- Basic math skills for handling cash transactions accurately.
- Knowledge of food safety and proper food handling procedures.
- Excellent time management skills to prioritize tasks efficiently during busy hours.
- Experience in serving or hospitality roles that demonstrate strong communication and interpersonal abilities is advantageous.
