Job Summary
The Duty Manager position at The Joint Cannabis is a management role responsible for overseeing daily operations and ongoing internal requests and projects. They will ensure employee productivity, while monitoring efficiency of all processes and creating a positive work environment for employees. They will meet regularly with Lead Management to stay up-to-date with organizational changes, issues and improvements. The Duty Manager will be required to utilize their coordination skills to encourage efficiency, and ensure completion on all projects.
The Joint currently operates 7 locations in Saskatchewan:

- 420 Centre St, Assiniboia
- 55-1244 Baltzan Blvd, Saskatoon
- 622 Circle Dr E, Saskatoon
- 1216 Idylwyld Dr N, Saskatoon
- 80-3030 Meadows Pkway, Saskatoon
Duties & Responsibilities
- Be a Designated Responsible Person In Charge while on shift
- Act as a main point of contact while on shift for all teams
- This position is involved in both Saskatchewan and Manitoba operations
- Address team questions and concerns and provide direction whenever needed
- Resolve conflicts and troubleshoot issues as they arise
- Assist/engage in employee recruitment, onboarding, promotion, retention and termination activities
- Document all activities within the locations and be able to confidently report data to Management for use in making important decisions for the district
- Actioning on projects as directed by the Management team
- Be the liaison on projects between the Management team and teams below
- Directing and assessing workflow
- Oversight and Coordination of ongoing internal requests and projects
- Break projects into doable actions and set timeframes
- Act as the point of contact and communicate request / project status to all participants
- Monitor request / project progress and handle any issues that arise
- Create and maintain comprehensive request / project documentation, plans and reports
- Communicate the progress on requests / projects regularly to
- Meet regularly with Lead Management to stay up-to-date with organizational changes, issues and improvements, and communicate these to other staff members
- Supervise the efficiency of all processes of the business, by proactively monitoring general operations
- Ensure that customers are satisfied and employee interactions with customers are positive.
- Identify skill gaps and arrange training with team members.
- Upholding the team to all company standards, policies, and health and safety standards
- Uphold a work environment that is conducive to positivity and superior customer service

Requirements
- Must be 19+
- Must be able to obtain Current & Valid Smart Choices Cannabis
- Must be able to provide us with a current Criminal Background Check
- Must be willing to work a flexible schedule, including evenings and weekends
- Valid driver's license and vehicle is a requirement
- Must be available for all Regina locations
- Must be willing to travel to any out of town locations as required
