About the Role
Millers TIMBER MART in Eganville is looking for a friendly, reliable Part‑Time Cashier to support front‑end operations and provide excellent customer service. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys working with people, staying organized, and contributing to a positive store experience.
Key Responsibilities
· Greet customers and provide helpful, friendly service
· Process purchases accurately using the POS system (training provided)
· Maintain a clean and organized checkout area
· Assist with merchandising and light shelf‑stocking as needed
· Handle returns, exchanges, and basic customer inquiries
· Support daily store tasks such as tidying, facing shelves, and restocking impulse items
· Follow all store policies, procedures, and safety guidelines
Qualifications
· Strong communication and customer‑service skills
· Reliable, punctual, and able to work independently
· Comfortable standing for extended periods
· Able to lift up to 30–40 lbs when assisting with stocking
· Retail or cashier experience is an asset but not required
· Positive attitude and willingness to learn
· Must be able to work weekends
