Job Summary
Rapidly expanding landscaping company are seeking a motivated and experienced Landscape Gardener Crew Leader to oversee and coordinate landscape maintenance projects. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills, extensive horticultural knowledge, and hands-on experience in gardening. As a crew leader, you will guide a team of landscapers to ensure high-quality work while maintaining safety standards and client satisfaction.
Responsibilities
- Lead and supervise a team of landscape technicians during daily operations, ensuring tasks are completed efficiently and to client specifications
- Plan and organize landscape maintenance activities, including planting, pruning, and weeding of garden beds
- Coordinate (at times) with clients to understand their needs and provide professional recommendations for landscape improvements
- Ensure all work complies with safety regulations and company policies
- Assist with construction-related tasks such as installing hardscape features or landscape structures when necessary
- Monitor project progress and report on team performance to management
Requirements
- Proven experience in landscape maintenance, gardening, horticulture, or related fields
- Supervising or leadership experience within a landscaping or construction environment
- Strong knowledge of, horticultural practices, and landscape construction techniques
- Ability to lead a team effectively while maintaining attention to detail and quality standards
- Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
- Physical ability to perform outdoor work in various weather conditions and lift heavy equipment or materials as needed
- Valid driver’s license and experience with driving truck and trailer for transportation between job sites
Pay: $28.75-$35.80 per hour
