Responsibilities:
- Assist physiotherapists in providing patient care and treatment
- Set up equipment and prepare treatment areas for therapy sessions
- Help patients with exercises and therapeutic activities as directed by the physiotherapist
- Monitor and record patient progress during therapy sessions
- Provide assistance to patients with mobility and transfers
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of treatment areas
Requirements:
- Previous experience as a physiotherapy assistant or related role is preferred
- Knowledge of medical terminology and procedures
- Familiarity with working in a hospital or acute care setting
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work effectively as part of a healthcare team
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
