Position Overview
The Senior Account Executive is responsible for developing new business opportunities, managing key client relationships, and driving revenue growth through staffing and recruitment solutions. This role is ideal for a high-performing sales professional with experience in staffing, recruitment, B2B sales, or workforce solutions who thrives in a consultative selling environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Identify, prospect, and secure new client partnerships through outbound sales activities, networking, referrals, and market research.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with hiring managers, HR leaders, and executive decision-makers.
- Conduct client needs assessments and provide customized staffing and recruitment solutions.
- Manage the full sales cycle from prospecting and lead generation to proposal presentation, negotiation, and closing.
- Collaborate closely with recruiters to ensure successful candidate placements and client satisfaction.
- Build and maintain a robust pipeline using CRM tools and sales tracking systems.
- Negotiate service agreements, pricing, and contract terms.
- Consistently achieve and exceed monthly, quarterly, and annual revenue targets.
- Stay informed on industry trends, labor market conditions, and competitor activity.
- Represent the company at networking events, industry associations, and business development opportunities.
Qualifications
Required
- 3+ years of experience in staffing, recruitment, workforce solutions, or B2B sales.
- Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets.
- Strong business development and client relationship management skills.
- Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation abilities.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Proficiency with CRM systems and Microsoft Office Suite.
Preferred
- Experience selling temporary, contract, direct hire, or executive search services.
- Existing network of business contacts within your local market.
- Knowledge of recruitment and talent acquisition processes.
Compensation & Benefits
Base Salary
$65,000 – $80,000 annually based on experience
Uncapped Commission Plan

On-Target Earnings (OTE): $120,000–$160,000+ annually
