Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and friendly Staff Member to join our team in providing exceptional food service. Duties
- Prepare and serve food items according to established recipes and safety standards
- Operate POS systems, including Micros POS, for order processing and cash handling
- Manage customer transactions accurately and efficiently using basic math skills
- Provide friendly and attentive customer service, addressing guest inquiries and requests
- Uphold food safety and sanitation standards through proper handling and storage of food products
- Assist with kitchen duties such as cleaning, stocking supplies, and maintaining sanitation protocols
- Upsell menu items to enhance guest experience and increase sales opportunities
- Ensure timely service by managing time effectively during busy periods
- Maintain cleanliness of workstations, dining areas, and equipment
Experience
- Previous experience in food service or restaurant environments is preferred but not required
- Familiarity with food preparation techniques and food handling procedures
- Experience using POS systems such as Micros POS or similar platforms
- Strong customer service background with excellent communication skills
- Ability to perform basic math calculations accurately for cash handling and order processing
- Knowledge of food safety standards, sanitation practices, and kitchen safety protocols
- Demonstrated ability to manage time effectively in a fast-paced setting
- Experience in upselling menu items to enhance guest satisfaction and revenue
