Duties
- Prepare and cook menu items according to standardized recipes and presentation standards
- Assist in food preparation, including chopping, marinating, and assembling ingredients
- Ensure all food is handled safely and stored properly in compliance with food safety regulations
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen area, including equipment and workstations
- Serve dishes promptly and accurately to ensure customer satisfaction
- Follow proper food handling procedures to prevent cross-contamination and ensure hygiene standards are met
- Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth kitchen operations during service hours
- Assist with inventory management by rotating stock and notifying management of supply needs
Experience
- Previous experience in a restaurant or food service setting is preferred, especially in a kitchen environment
- Knowledge of food preparation techniques, cooking methods, and food safety practices
- Familiarity with serving protocols and meal presentation standards
- Experience working in the food industry demonstrates an understanding of fast-paced service demands
- Ability to handle multiple tasks efficiently while maintaining attention to detail in meal preparation and presentation
