Callahan Automotive Inc. is looking for an experienced, motivated Automotive Technician / Mechanic to join our team. We are a busy, growing automotive repair shop offering a positive work environment, competitive wages, and a Monday-to-Friday schedule with weekends off.
What You'll Do
- Perform automotive diagnostics, maintenance, and repairs on a variety of makes and models
- Diagnose and repair mechanical, electrical, and drivability issues
- Perform brake, suspension, steering, exhaust, and engine repairs
- Complete vehicle inspections and identify required repairs
- Perform routine maintenance and preventative services
- Use diagnostic scan tools and other automotive equipment
- Complete repairs accurately and efficiently while maintaining high-quality standards
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work area
- Communicate professionally with the service team regarding vehicle repairs and recommendations
What We're Looking For
- Red Seal Automotive Technician certification preferred, but experienced technicians are considered
- Strong diagnostic and problem-solving skills
- Experience working independently and as part of a team
- Reliable, punctual, and dependable
- Strong attention to detail and pride in workmanship
- Valid driver's licence
- Own tools
- Positive attitude and willingness to learn
