Job Overview
We are seeking a dynamic and energetic Shift Supervisor to lead our retail team and ensure smooth store operations during your assigned shifts. Duties
- Supervise daily store activities, ensuring efficient operations and high customer satisfaction
- Lead, motivate, and develop team members through coaching, training, and performance feedback
- Oversee cash handling procedures, POS transactions, and cashiering to ensure accuracy and security
- Manage merchandising displays, pricing strategies, and inventory purchasing to maximize sales potential
- Coordinate recruiting efforts for new team members and participate in interviewing processes
- Handle customer inquiries, resolve complaints promptly, and foster positive relationships with shoppers
- Monitor store safety protocols, conduct regular audits, and ensure compliance with company policies
- Assist with payroll processing, budgeting tasks, and administrative record-keeping to maintain operational excellence
Experience
- Proven supervising or team management experience in a retail environment
- Strong knowledge of retail sales techniques, merchandising principles, and POS systems
- Bilingual or multilingual skills preferred to serve diverse customer bases effectively
- Demonstrated ability in recruiting, training & development, and performance management
- Excellent communication skills with phone etiquette proficiency and organizational abilities
- Experience in cash handling, bookkeeping, pricing strategies, and sales management
- Ability to manage time effectively while multitasking in a fast-paced setting
- Familiarity with marketing initiatives and promotional activities within retail settings
