FULL TIME / PART TIME POSITION
We are looking for a passionate and dedicated early childhood educator level 2 or 3 to work in daycare and Out of School Care:
- Plan, organize, document, and implement programming through emergent curriculum
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, independently and in a team
- Experience with emergent planning and writing observations
- Excellent supervision skills
- Experience with children in daycare settings. Must be energetic, enthusiastic, and engaging with the children
- A current criminal check & vulnerable sector
- A CPR/ First Aid Certification
- Spend a lot of time on your feet and engaged with the children
- Guide and assist children in the development of proper eating, dressing, and toileting habits
- Maintain daycare equipment and assist in housekeeping
- Work in a fast-paced environment and mostly on your feet
- Develop and implement child-care curriculum that support and promote the physical, cognitive, emotional, and social development of children
- Lead activities by telling or reading stories, teaching songs and taking children to local points of interest
- Guide and assist children in the development of proper eating, dressing, and toileting habits
- Observe children for signs of potential learning or behavioral problems and prepare reports for parents, guardians, or supervisor
- Assess the abilities, interests, and needs of children and discuss progress or problems with parents and other staff members
- Plan and maintain an environment that protects the health, security, and well-being of children
- Plan and organize activities for school-age children in child-care programs before and after regular school hours
- Must have childcare level 2 or 3
Job Type: Part-time, full-time
Salary: $15.00-$21.00 per hour

- 8 hour shift
- Monday to Friday
- Morning shift
- Afternoon shift

- Edmonton, AB T5W 0C1: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (preferred)
