Position Summary
Estate Interiors Inc is seeking a talented and detail-oriented Interior Designer / Millwork Designer with strong experience using Microvellum. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing custom millwork designs, creating production-ready drawings, coordinating with project teams, and supporting projects from concept through installation.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop detailed custom millwork and interior design solutions for residential and commercial projects.
- Create accurate shop drawings, technical drawings, and production documentation using Microvellum.
- Produce 3D models, renderings, and presentation materials as required.
- Collaborate with clients, architects, designers, project managers, and production teams.
- Prepare material specifications, hardware schedules, and cut lists.
- Review project requirements and ensure compliance with design intent, building standards, and manufacturing capabilities.
- Coordinate revisions and manage drawing updates throughout project lifecycles.
- Support estimating and project planning activities when required.
- Conduct site visits, field measurements, and installation reviews as needed.
- Ensure all deliverables meet company quality standards and project deadlines.

Qualifications
- Diploma or degree in Interior Design, Architectural Technology, Industrial Design, or a related field.
- Minimum 3–5 years of experience in interior design, millwork design, or custom cabinetry design.
- Advanced proficiency with Microvellum software.
- Strong knowledge of AutoCAD and related design software.
- Experience creating shop drawings and manufacturing documentation.
- Understanding of woodworking, cabinetry construction methods, and architectural millwork practices.
- Knowledge of materials, hardware, and finishing techniques.
- Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Strong communication and problem-solving abilities.
- Ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with CNC manufacturing environments.
- Familiarity with SketchUp, Revit, or other 3D modeling software.
- Experience working on luxury residential or high-end commercial interiors.
- Strong knowledge of building codes and construction practices.
Pay: $58,000.00-$75,000.00 per year
