247Gard is seeking a highly motivated and reliable Security Guard to join our team. As a Security Guard, you will be responsible for maintaining a safe and secure environment for our clients and employees. Your primary role will be to prevent theft, vandalism, and unauthorized access to the premises. Job Responsibilities
- Provide outstanding and personalized customer service as a front-line representative.
- Assist with any questions from members of the public coming onto the premises and direct them to the appropriate group/individual, as required.
- Enforce property rules and regulations and the Trespass to Property Act to maintain the security and safety of our clients and their assets.
- Oversee the logging in and out of site equipment.
- Respond to all emergencies (medical, building, etc.)
- Investigates security breaches, incidents, and other alarming behavior.
- Completes reports by recording observations, information, occurrences, and surveillance activities.
- Patrolling and monitoring designated areas
- Interacting with the public with a customer service approach to security
- Monitor and control access at defined facility and property entry control points and assigned security posts.
- Escalating and assisting law enforcement as required
- Completing incident reports and required documentation for all security incidents.
- Working in both Indoor and Outdoor Conditions
Experience
- Prior experience in law enforcement, security services, or surveillance is highly desirable..
- Knowledge of loss prevention techniques and procedures.
- Strong observational skills with the ability to identify potential threats quickly.
- Excellent communication skills for reporting incidents clearly and effectively.

Other requirements:
- 1 year Tactical Security Guard experience required
- Must be available for the afternoon shift
- Must hold security guard license
- Must have valid First aid and CPR Certification
- Use of Force certification required
