Qualifications
- Must have experience in effectively managing and leading a team within a fast-paced environment.
- 1-2 years Retail Sales experience.
- Engaging personality and comfortable approaching customers.
- Flexibility with shifts to accommodate varying schedules and operational demands.
- Smart Serve certification is mandatory.
- Prior food handling experience to maintain safety and sanitation standards.
- Dedication to prioritizing the customer experience in every guest interaction.
- Possess a high degree of professionalism, ensuring a positive representation of our café.
- Energetic, enthusiastic, and attentive to details to fulfill customers' needs and preferences.
- Ability to work independently when necessary and collaborate effectively within the team.
Primary Duties and Responsibilities
- Lead by example in fostering a culture centered around the enjoyment of food and beverages, creating a welcoming atmosphere for customers and team members alike.
- Cultivate a culture of accountability and continuous improvement, ensuring adherence to standard operating procedures and processes.
- Prepare weekly work schedules for staff members, taking into account individual availability and business needs. Additionally, you will be responsible for finding suitable replacements in cases of staff absence, ensuring that shifts are adequately staffed at all times.
- Manage café opening and closing procedures.
- Organize break schedules for café staff, ensuring that breaks are scheduled efficiently to maintain operational effectiveness while prioritizing the well-being of our team members.
- Conducting comprehensive training sessions for all café staff members.
- Provide exceptional customer service, addressing inquiries and concerns with warmth and efficiency.
- Manage inventory levels, receiving deliveries and verifying accuracy in items and quantities.
- Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations, maintaining a clean and safe environment for all.
- Demonstrate effective time management and organizational skills to handle multiple tasks efficiently, including weekly inventory counts.
- Additional duties as assigned or required.
