At DIOR Interiors Inc., We are currently seeking a skilled and reliable Carpenter or cabinet assembler to join our production team and help maintain our commitment to excellence. The successful candidate should understand the wood basics, as it's important in our industry, terminology, real life experience to know the basics of cabinet words. Familiarity with cabinetmaking materials such as MDF, plywood, hardwood, and laminates. Without this knowledge one cannot even determine what's to produce, cut or setup., also what should be end results. Also important to understand the species so one can determine which side of the grains or vines "should" be cut, layouts should be done. We do plan to cross train to CNC operation as well so one can be responsible for setting up, programming, and operating CNC machinery to produce cabinet components with precision and efficiency. This role requires a strong attention to detail, technical aptitude, and the ability to interpret shop drawings. Compensation is based on the "direct experience in the industry" with portfolio to prove.
Responsibilities:

- Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and construction drawings to determine installation requirements.
- Installing a variety of building components, including cabinetry· Load raw materials and monitor machine operations to ensure optimal performance and product quality.
- Perform basic machine maintenance and tooling changes to minimize downtime.
- Inspect finished components to ensure they meet quality standards and specifications.
- Collaborate with production team members to meet daily and weekly production goals.
- Report any issues with machinery, materials, or production to the supervisor.
- Follow company health and safety procedures at all times.
- Other duties as may be assigned
Requirements:
· 1–3 years of experience cabinet making, carpentry, millwork machinery, related to wood industry.
· Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and cut lists.
· Familiarity with cabinetmaking materials such as MDF, plywood, hardwood, and laminates.
· Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
· Physical stamina to stand, bend, lift, and perform repetitive tasks throughout the shift.
· Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
