Job Description:
We are currently seeking a highly skilled and experienced journeyman fire sprinkler installer to join our team. As a journeyman installer, you will be responsible for installing and maintaining fire sprinkler systems in commercial and residential buildings throughout the Edmonton area. Your primary duties will include:
- Reading and interpreting blueprints, schematics, and construction plans
- Installing, testing, and maintaining fire sprinkler systems in accordance with NFPA and local codes
- Performing inspections and troubleshooting to identify and repair any issues with fire sprinkler systems
- Collaborating with other members of the team to ensure that projects are completed on time and within budget
- Providing exceptional customer service to our clients and ensuring their satisfaction with the work performed
Requirements:
- Must be a journeyman level fire sprinkler installer with a minimum of 5 years of experience in the field
- Must hold a valid Journeyman Certificate in Fire Sprinkler Installation issued by Alberta Apprenticeship and Industry Training
- Must have a valid driver's license and reliable transportation
- Must be able to pass a background check
- Must have excellent communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively with others
- Must have a strong attention to detail and be able to work efficiently under tight deadlines
