Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled Framer to join our construction team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for constructing the framework of buildings, including walls, floors, and doorframes. As well as installing ICF foundations. Candidates must be familiar with installation of vinyl , wood and metal siding.
Roofing is a bonus.
3-5 years experience in the trades preferred.
Responsibilities
- Read and interpret blueprints and schematics to determine project specifications
- Measure, cut, and shape wood, plastic, and other materials
- Assemble and fasten materials using hand tools, power tools, and equipment
- Construct building frameworks by accurately following construction plans
- Install structures such as windows, doors, and staircases
- Ensure that all work meets industry standards for safety and quality
Requirements
- Experience in framing or carpentry work
- Proficiency in blueprint reading and interpreting schematics
- Knowledge of ICF forming and finishing techniques
- Ability to operate heavy equipment is a plus
- Familiarity with a variety of hand tools and power tools
