Responsibilities:
- Inspection and maintenance of fire alarm systems, emergency lights and fire extinguishers and fire hoses.
- Trouble shooting various fire alarm-based issues.
- Verification of fire alarm systems.
- Completing inspection reports and preparing deficiency list.
- Availability to work variable hours, weekends and/or "on-call" shifts as necessary to meet customer requirements.
- Mentoring and training junior technicians.
Qualifications and Skills:
- CFAA Certification
- Must have 2 years experience in the fire alarm industry
- Knowledge of related codes and standards including CAN/ULC S536 and CAN/ULC S537, OBC, OFC.
- Ability to communicate with clients and coworkers
- Excellent customer service skills
- Proficient in word, excel based software.
- Looking for long term position
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record
