We are seeking a knowledgeable and personable Budtender to join our team. The Budtender will serve as a trusted advisor, assisting customers in selecting suitable products while maintaining compliance with all regulations. Bilingual abilities, especially in English and French, are highly valued to serve our diverse clientele. Responsibilities
- Greet customers warmly and provide expert guidance on product selection based on individual needs and preferences
- Educate customers on product effects, usage, and safety guidelines in a clear and professional manner
- Operate POS systems accurately for cash handling, sales transactions, and inventory management
- Upsell products effectively to enhance customer experience and meet sales goals
- Maintain tidy merchandising displays and ensure products are well-stocked and organized
- Manage inventory levels through proper filing, documentation, and stock rotation
- Handle customer inquiries via phone or in person with excellent communication skills
- Assist with basic computer operations including Microsoft Office tools such as Excel for record keeping
- Follow all regulatory compliance procedures related to product sales and customer verification
- Support team leadership in daily store operations, including cashiering, filing, and time management tasks
- Uphold cleanliness standards of the retail space while adhering to safety protocols
Experience
- Previous experience in retail sales or hospitality environments is preferred
- Familiarity with POS systems, cashiering, and cash handling procedures
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to multitask efficiently during busy periods
- Excellent communication skills with a focus on customer service excellence
- Ability to perform heavy lifting when necessary (e.g., stocking shelves or moving merchandise)
- Basic math skills for transaction accuracy and inventory management
- Leadership qualities or prior supervisory experience are advantageous but not mandatory
