Position: Welder
Reports to: Production Manager
Location: 2485 Speers Road, Oakville
Job description
Mancor Industries is a world class precision manufacturer of metal components and sub-assemblies that use metal cutting, forming, machining, welding, assembly and paint. We use state-of-the-art machining and fabrication techniques in a lean, self-directed work team manufacturing environment to produce high value-added, cost-effective products for our strategic partners.
Responsibilities
· Read and interpret work orders and technical drawings.
· Perform welding duties in accordance with work instructions and inspection sheets, and technical drawings.
· Understand and comply with Company Health & Safety standards and programs
· Able to do GMAW welding
Education & Qualifications
· Welding Certificate or Diploma
· Valid CWB welding ticket is an asset
· 5 + years of welding/fitting experience – Metal Core Wire and Hard Wire
· TIG welding experience as an asset
· Experience with forklift, jib/overhead cranes is an asset
· Physically capable of performing the essential duties and responsibilities of the position including regular lifting and carrying of 5-23 kgs.
· Ability to work safe and independently within a fast-paced environment.
· Written and oral communication in English.
Salary and Benefits
· Salary: CAD 31 – CAD 33 Hourly, (Depending on Experience)
· Medical & Dental after 3 months
· Flexible with hours of work - able to work Day/Aft shifts and OT as required.
