Alata is looking for a Quality Assurance Analyst who will help us develop a quality plan for several products in our portfolio and help to execute on that plan. The analyst will also be responsible for monitoring incoming support requests and performing tier 1 or tier 2 support for our customer base.
What You'll Do
- Develop a quality assurance plan, including automated and manual components, for those products
- Contribute to the execution of the quality plan
- Act as the first point of contact for customer bug reporting and feature requests
- Respond to and/or resolve incoming support tickets in a timely manner
- Triage and escalate support requests to the appropriate teams/people
What You'll Need
- 3+ years of experience testing web applications
- 2+ years of experience using tools like cypress or selenium
- 2+ years of experience writing testing plans and user scenarios
- A related technical degree or diploma
- Must be organized, detail oriented, and self-motivated
- Deep understanding of how browsers and web applications work, ideally with some javascript knowledge
- Have developed frontend automated tests and have worked with front end testing frameworks similar to jest and/or cypress
- Familiarity with Jira Software or similar project management software
- Familiarity with Zen Desk or similar support ticket systems
- Experience writing SQL queries to be able to test systems at the database level
- An understanding of CI and CD practices, and basic awareness of how DevOps pipelines work
- Experience working on an Agile team
