Summary
We are seeking an experienced Quality Coordinator to support the successful delivery of a major Industrial Fire Protection construction project in North Vancouver. This onsite role is ideal for someone who enjoys working in a fast-paced industrial environment and has a strong attention to detail.
About the Role
The Quality Coordinator supports the project by ensuring work is inspected, documented and completed in accordance with project specifications, quality standards and regulatory requirements.
Responsibilities
- Participates in all site quality inspections
- Coordinate all site inspections with the site subcontractors
- Ensure that all inspection reports are accurate and appropriately documented
- Assist with ensuring all work is correctly prepared prior to any inspection being undertaken
- Review all inspection reports for compliance
- Assist the QCM in the organization, maintenance and control of the quality system
- Prepare nonconformance reports for the QCM and assist in developing corrective actions
- Assist the QCM and construction manager in resolving any discrepancies and ambiguities
- As directed, coordinate with the client’s QC inspectors for the resolution of site problems
- Coordinate with the site subcontractors to ensure that communication exists and are maintained
- Assist the site subcontractors in the resolution of drawing interpretation
- Attend the weekly QC meetings
- Facilitate the issuance of nonconformance reports in conjunction with the site QCM
- Assists in the completion of QC site instructions and coordinate their closure
- Review of inspection test packages during the course of construction activities
- Compliance with the project’s HSE regulations
Qualifications
- 5 + years of onsite working experience as a Quality Coordinator/ Officer on Industrial projects
- Successful completion of ISO Certified Lead Auditor Course (considered as asset)
- Detailed oriented professional, with excellent time management and follow-up skills
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Demonstrated ability to work extensively with MS Office Suite
- A strong understanding of related regulations (NFPA) per project requirements
- Industrial Fire Sprinkler Systems and Fire Alarm knowledge is an asset
- Strong organizational skills to properly coordinate large volume activities and meet deadlines
Compensation:
- $48.00-52.00/hour depending on experience + qualifications

Schedule:
- Monday to Friday, 10-hour shifts
- 8 hours straight time and 2 hours overtime per day
Anticipated Start Date July 20, 2026

Experience:
