Overview
Property Restoration is seeking to source an experienced and detail-oriented Restoration Project Manager to lead and oversee complex restoration projects in the Greater Toronto Area West (Etobicoke, Brampton, Mississauga, Brantford, Burlington). The ideal candidate will possess strong construction management skills, proficiency with industry-standard software, and the ability to coordinate multiple teams and resources effectively. This role offers an opportunity to manage diverse projects, ensuring timely completion while maintaining high standards of quality and safety.
Duties
- Lead and coordinate all phases of restoration projects from inception to completion, including planning, scheduling, and execution.
- Review and interpret blueprints, schematics, and construction drawings to ensure project specifications are met.
- Prepare accurate construction estimates and budgets based on project scope and client requirements.
- Manage project timelines using effective time management strategies to ensure deadlines are consistently met.
- Oversee subcontractors, vendors, and internal teams to ensure quality standards, safety protocols, and regulatory compliance are maintained throughout the project lifecycle.
- Communicate regularly with clients, stakeholders, and team members to provide updates on project status and resolve any issues promptly.
- Developing and maintaining relationships with key industry partners
- Understanding all Service Level Agreements (SLAs) and ensuring compliance
- Maintaining current and accurate files in job management applications
- Effectively communicating with homeowners, insurance adjusters and insurance company liasons.
- Conduct site visits to monitor progress, inspect work quality, and address any unforeseen challenges or delays.
Skills
- Proficiency in blueprint reading and understanding schematics for accurate project execution.
- Experience with construction estimating techniques to develop realistic budgets.
- Experience in Property Damage Restoration (handling insurance-related water and fire losses) is a MUST
- Ability to lead and develop a team. Proven leadership skills.
- Strong knowledge of construction processes, safety standards, and building codes relevant to restoration projects.
- Excellent project management skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively under tight deadlines.
- Effective communication skills for coordinating with clients, teams, vendors, and stakeholders.
- Demonstrated leadership in managing multiple projects simultaneously while maintaining attention to detail.
- Ability to adapt quickly to changing project requirements and troubleshoot issues efficiently.
