Responsibilities
- Prepare ingredients and assemble dishes according to established recipes and menu specifications

- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen workspace, adhering to food safety standards
- Support the culinary team during meal preparation, ensuring timely service during busy periods
- Handle food with care, following proper food handling procedures to prevent contamination
- Operate kitchen equipment safely and efficiently, including knives and other culinary tools
- Contribute to catering events and special meal services as needed, supporting overall food industry operations
Skills
- Proven experience in dietary departments or as a dietary aide is highly desirable
- Strong background in food preparation, cooking, and food handling within restaurant or hospitality settings
- Excellent knife skills and proficiency in meal preparation techniques
- Experience with menu planning, fine dining standards, and catering services
- Knowledge of food safety protocols and proper sanitation practices
- Ability to work efficiently under pressure in a fast-paced environment
- Familiarity with culinary techniques gained through restaurant experience or culinary education
- Strong communication skills for serving guests and collaborating with team members
