What will you be doing in the Machine Operator/ Prime Line Operator position?
As the Machine Operator, you will have the opportunity to help our business meet production targets by consistently producing high-quality interior finishing products. This Machine Operator position will report directly to the Production Supervisor and will be a member of the Metrie Manufacturing team. The role will be based out of our Woodbridge facility.
At a high-level, you will:
- Produce products to meet work order specifications while meeting high standard of quality
- Operate our machinery and equipment to the specifications of the manufacturer
- Support plant continuous improvement initiatives
- Ensure daily production continuously meets requirements of IFOTIS (In full, On Time, In Spec)
- Participate in cross-training with other departments on the production line to further your skillsets
- Understand and apply our health and safety policies and regulations
Available Shift: Monday to Thursday (Nights), 5PM to 4AM.

We will provide in-house training to help you be successful in this role! No experience is necessary.
You are an ideal candidate if you:
- Are comfortable operating machinery and standing/walking for long periods.
- Have a positive attitude, lead by example, and are respectful towards your team members.
- Understand the importance of health and safety at work and can follow instructions.

- Lifting: Floor to waist, waist to floor
- Pushing / Pulling: Frequent when relocating production carts
- Hand to eye coordination and dexterity: Picking, pinching, holding, grasping, and repetitive rotation
