- KINETIcare is a Vancouver-based kinesiology and ergonomics practice working with ICBC clients recovering from motor vehicle accidents. We're growing and looking for registered kinesiologists to deliver active rehabilitation on a contract basis.
You'd be working one-to-one with clients on individualized exercise programs, helping them get back to work, sport, and daily life after a crash. Sessions run out of our downtown Vancouver location at the Sheraton Wall Centre (1000 Burrard Street) and, for some clients, in their own homes across the Lower Mainland.
WHAT YOU'LL DO
- Deliver 1:1 active rehabilitation sessions to ICBC clients following an established treatment plan
- Progress and adapt exercise programs based on client response and functional goals
- Coach clients on movement quality, pacing, load management, and return-to-activity strategy
- Write clear, timely session notes and progress documentation under your own name and BCAK registration
- Travel to client homes in Vancouver and surrounding areas where in-home sessions are required
- Communicate with our clinical lead on client progress, red flags, and plan changes
WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR
- Current registration in good standing with the BC Association of Kinesiologists (BCAK), Practicing or Active category
- Professional liability insurance of at least $1,000,000, through BCAK or held independently
- 5+ years of practicing kinesiology experience preferred. We're flexible for the right person, so apply if you're strong and have less
- Direct experience with ICBC active rehabilitation clients is a significant asset
- Comfortable working independently with adult clients across a range of injuries and presentations
- Reliable transportation and willingness to do in-home visits
- Solid written communication. Documentation quality matters to us
- Valid BC driver's licence and a clear criminal record check
NICE TO HAVE
- Experience with return-to-work programs, functional capacity work, or occupational rehabilitation
- Additional certifications such as CSEP-CEP, exercise therapy, or manual and movement training
- A second language
WHAT WE OFFER
- $30 to $40 per hour to start, depending on experience. Negotiable for candidates with strong ICBC caseload experience
