We are seeking an CPA Student for our office located in central Calgary to work as a Staff Accountant. The role will allow you to flex your analytical skills and initiative while providing you exposure to work that will advance your professional development.
The role requires a strong attention to detail, an eagerness and ability to quickly learn and adapt, and a positive attitude. Completion of CPA prerequisites and enrolment in the CPA PEP is a must.
You will be led by our Managers and Partners, who will need your support in auditing & reviewing our client's financial statements, and in preparing corporate tax returns and to ensure a successful and positive experience for our clients and team.

Duties include:
- Audit and Review of private enterprises and not-for-profit organizations
- Assist clients in preparing year-end financial statements in accordance with ASPE and ASNPO
- Diagnosing and correcting issues in client prepared accounting
- Preparing corporate tax returns
- Preparing and filing GST returns
- Preparing tax estimates, and advising on the impacts of changing assumptions
- Perform other duties as assigned by Managers or Partners
