Kinderhaven Daycare is currently seeking passionate and dedicated Early Childhood Educators (Level 2 orLevel 3)to join our growing team. We are looking for educators with a minimum of two years of experience in a licensed childcare setting who are enthusiastic about supporting children’s learning, development, and well-being. Our centre follows a Montessori-inspired, play-based curriculum aligned with Alberta’s FLIGHT framework, with a strong focus on early academics, independence, and holistic child development.
As an Early Childhood Educator at Kinderhaven, you will be responsible for planning and implementing developmentally appropriate activities that support children’s social, emotional, physical, and cognitive growth. You will create a safe, nurturing, and engaging classroom environment, observe and document children’s progress, and work collaboratively with fellow educators to deliver high-quality programming. Strong communication with families, positive guidance strategies, and maintaining daily routines are key components of this role.
The ideal candidate holds a valid Alberta Child Care Staff Certification (Level 2 or Level 3), has current First Aid & CPR certification,a valid police clearance within 6 months and demonstrates strong classroom management and organizational skills. A solid understanding of child development, inclusive practices, and licensing regulations is essential. Candidates must be reliable, professional, team-oriented, and genuinely passionate about early childhood education.
