Job Overview
We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Plumber- Starter to join our construction team. Duties
- Assist with the installation, repair, and maintenance of plumbing systems
- Use hand tools and power tools to assemble and install piping, fixtures, and related components
- Read blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings to understand project requirements
- Perform basic carpentry tasks related to plumbing installations
- Support HVAC and mechanical system work as needed
- Follow safety protocols and maintain a clean work environment throughout projects
- Collaborate with team members to complete projects efficiently and accurately
- Assist with welding, assembly, and other related tasks as directed by senior technicians
Qualifications
- Basic knowledge of plumbing systems and construction practices
- Familiarity with hand tools, power tools, welding equipment, and schematics
- Ability to read blueprints and technical drawings; basic math skills are a plus
- Experience or training in HVAC, carpentry, or maintenance is desirable but not required
- Strong work ethic with a focus on safety and quality workmanship
- Good communication skills and ability to work well within a team environment
- Willingness to learn new skills and adapt to various tasks on the job site
- Prior experience in construction or related fields is advantageous but not mandatory
