We are currently seeking a Journeyman Heavy Equipment Technician to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining heavy equipment and crushing plant components, with a strong focus on conveyor systems and related equipment.

Pay Rate: $40-$49/hour
Key Responsibilities
- Diagnose, troubleshoot, repair, and maintain heavy equipment and crushing plant machinery
- Perform preventative maintenance and inspections on conveyors, crushers, screeners, and related equipment
- Repair and replace conveyor belts, rollers, bearings, motors, pulleys, and hydraulic components
- Conduct mechanical, hydraulic, and electrical troubleshooting
- Complete field and shop repairs as required
- Ensure equipment operates safely and efficiently to minimize downtime
- Maintain accurate service records and repair documentation
- Work closely with operations and maintenance teams to prioritize repairs
- Follow all company safety procedures and industry regulations
Qualifications & Requirements
- Certified Journeyman Heavy Equipment Technician required
- conveyor system experience is asset
- Experience with conveyors, loaders, excavators, and heavy equipment maintenance
- Strong mechanical and troubleshooting abilities
- Knowledge of hydraulic and electrical systems
- Ability to work independently and within a team environment
- Valid driver’s license required
- Welding and fabrication experience considered an asset
