Freedom Mechanical is a small and growing Airdrie based company that is primarily focused on commercial installation, repairs and preventative maintenance. We are presently looking to expand our team of HVAC-R service technicians to help continue to provide exceptional service to our clients.
We are searching for a confident qualified service technician with strong core values whom takes pride in their work, enjoys challenges and being part of a great team environment.
Qualifications & Experience:
-Journeyperson Certification OR 3rd/4th Year Apprentice with Experience in a Commercial Work Environment
-Journeyperson Electrical OR Gasfitter Looking to Pursue New Trade Certification in Refrigeration HVAC
-Capable of Completing Basic Preventative Maintenance & Repair on Commercial HVAC-R Equipment (MUA, RTU, Exhaust Fans, Furnaces, Reach-In Coolers/Freezer, Walk-In Refrigeration, Ice Machines)
-Strong Knowledge of HVAC-R Systems & Equipment Operations
-Basic Knowledge of Plumbing systems & General Repairs
-Basic Knowledge of Hydronic Heating System & General Equipment Operations (Pumps, Boilers, Zone Valves) Would Be An Asset
-Self Motivated, Capable of Working with Minimal Supervision
-Independent Decision Making and Multi-Tasking Skills an Asset
-Capable to Participate in After Hours On-Call Rotation
-Valid Class 5 Driver's License (Drivers Abstract Required if Contacted)
-Must have a clean and presentable appearance
-Must currently live in Airdrie & Calgary Area
