As our Facilities Supervisor, Maintenance, you’ll supervise and lead a team of skilled technical employees to meet daily operational demands supporting our building facilities and worksites. You’ll evaluate and support areas such as training requirements and knowledge of administrative tasks, including managing and scheduling the maintenance team.

Develop a general knowledge of our facilities' assets, current maintenance, and operations methods and processes.

Provide coaching to support performance, maintain the quality of work, and lead ongoing training and development of your team.

Organize and monitor preventative maintenance and operational deliverables.

Implement methodologies to streamline and improve work efficiency and tasks.

Develop tactical strategies to improve the overall effectiveness of our preventative maintenance program and timeliness of responses to service requests.

Enhance and maintain a high level of customer service for employees.

A bachelor’s degree or diploma in a related technology discipline from a recognized program.

An excellent leader with four to seven years of experience in a leadership capacity or an equivalent combination of education, training, and experience.

A demonstrated understanding of building maintenance and operations (services, heating, electrical, plumbing, etc.) with an exceptional mechanical aptitude.

A safety mindset focused on ensuring the well-being of all employees.

Concise and clear communication skills with an ability to problem-solve and utilize solid decision-making skills.
In this role, you will have the option to participate in a flexible work program, enabling you to work from an approved flex location in British Columbia up to 85 days a year (equivalent to approximately two days a week), subject to business or operational needs.
